    Victory

`Do I question the moment and try to reason?

Is there something that bugs me about this season?

I can't put my finger on it, so I directly ask why.

I literally drop to my knees and wait for a reply.

*I understand your bewilderment and hear you call.

You've requested this continuously, since you were this tall.

You know deep down, but you don't allow me in.

I am asking you, not just why, but when.

`I beg for forgiveness and promise to not do it again.

I want to be perfect, but I don't know where to begin.

I keep falling away, and I realize bottom is where I'll hit.

Can this be fixed? If there's a light, I can't see it.

*You are forgiven, now it's as 'East to West" from you.

I don't ask for perfection, all I want is just you.

When you fall, call on me and I'll help you to stand.

No matter the time or situation, through me; you can.

`I see better, and I can hear now what you're saying.

"Hypocrite or Poser", but that's not what I'm portraying?

This is so tough, even without all of the outside pressure.

Failure! I must be the one for whom others will measure.

*Listen to me and be still, you will know my voice.

I will help you always, but it is still your choice.

Getting up after you fall is part of how you grow.

VICTORY is already yours my child, because I said so.

I love this poem. You are truly blessed and of the Lord. Stay near him and continue to allow him to use you. God Bless You!!

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
