    Wait For Me, Spencer

Sitting by my sister as we cruise down the roads….
Country music playing as I watch for little toads,
Turtles, cows, piggys, horses, cranes and sheep….
Green fields are everywhere – a place I love to sleep.
Farmers plowing fields wave as we drive through,
“Welcome to our town. Stay and enjoy the view.”
This is my secret place…it’s easy to read and pray –
No rushing through the city where time controls the day.
Bless this land richly with each seed the farmers sew,
Thank You God for farmers and this quiet place to go.
