Water & Love

The water can be either friendly or dangerous.
It can cradle your body as you swim through it like a fish,
or, it can destroy the very things that you cherish and love.
Water is everywhere, it's in our every day lives.
We use it to cook, to bathe, to drink, and for recreational uses.
Water is the very source of our life, without it, we'd die.
Love is just like water, it's never ending, and just like water, it comes and goes, and is in our every day lives. We love the things that we hold most dear and near to our hearts, and just like water, without love, we'd for surely die. There is one thing that I'm fearing when it comes to both love and water, the only thing that I fear with water, is that it could very likely, destroy that of which, I've worked so hard for. As for love... I fear that if I keep somebody or something to close to me, then I shall lose them as well, like I have with so many others. And I can feel my heart slowly growing darker, colder, and harder. I fear anybody who tries to come too close to my heart.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
