We Are Human

We Are Human

when love has the decency,
to encompass our natural lives,
to cast brightness over the dark hollowness of our vital organs
our nervous system, brains and torrent
of thick, rich blood
burning and roaring with verocity
as it shoots through fragile tiny tunnels
bringing every atom it touches
to a pure, evolutionary climax.
A perfect peak.
It enriches,
pours life into every synchronised cell
thus leaving a being
alive with fulfillment, passion and desire
buzzing with thoughts,emotions, intelligence,
not just an oxygen consuming cavern
nor a machine which processes and orders
but a piece of the core
the core of meaning, the core of questioning
the core of red.
when love has the decency
to broaden our lives
we know
that we are human.
when love has the decency,
to encompass our natural lives,
to cast brightness over the dark hollowness of our vital organs
our nervous system, brains and torrent
of thick, rich blood
burning and roaring with verocity
as it shoots through fragile tiny tunnels
bringing every atom it touches
to a pure, evolutionary climax.
A perfect peak.
It enriches,
pours life into every synchronised cell
thus leaving a being
alive with fulfillment, passion and desire
buzzing with thoughts,emotions, intelligence,
not just an oxygen consuming cavern
nor a machine which processes and orders
but a piece of the core
the core of meaning, the core of questioning
the core of red.
when love has the decency
to broaden our lives
we know
that we are human.

Very well written! It flows beautifully. I can feel the emotion in your words.

Thank you!
