    Wearied Traveler

What in right mind am I
    To ever cry
Tearing my flesh like the torn heart
Where one can only be ripped apart
    Madness you say Go ahead
No more true then what is said
Where one is wounded eternally to bleed
Devouring of ones self the demons succeed
So pray for this weary soul
Send blessing to he who paid his toll
A Penny to take me far from this place
Penny for the boat man to forget her face
I cannot remove stained in my mind an image of her
Lost in all thought taken prisoner
Locked away in a mind most cruel
To bubble to twist so bile and gruel
    Mind matters not
    Left to toil and plot
Doomed in hopelessness never will I find
Where infection creeps its way to the mind
For even fever never can ease this pain
How was I to think I was ever sane
Down and down I spiral into hell
Reaching out to those who can never tell
    Morbid you say to me
Who are you when you cannot see
A heart that was never ones own
Now it wishes it were stone
Wrapped upon my throat tossed into this brink
Alone in an abyss condemned to eternally sink
Waving as I slowly go down
Lost to a sea so desolate one can not help but drown
    So heavy a heart
    Ripped apart
    Weighed in tears of lead
    Filled a soul of dread
    Longing to escape my capture
    When will I find rapture
    Vindications of self damnations
    Left in hesitations
Damned to think that there’s no end
Knees begin to break and refuse to bend
    Lost soul forever to roam
No where to call his home
    Aimless wandering soul
Wearied traveler left to life long toll

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
