"What Is A Mother"

A mother is someone who carries a baby for nine months.
A mother is born when her first child is born, but before that she is just another woman.
A mother is a teacher, comforter, doctor and counselor.
A mother is someone who works twenty four hours and seven days a week with no pay.
A mother is your lighthouse when you are out there on the stormy waters.
A mother is a rock and a cushion.
A mother is a superhero with many unique powers.
A mother will pick you up when you fall and knock you down when you think you are so mighty.
A mother is that sunshine on that cloudy day.
A mother is extra special to us all.
A mother is strong, smart, loving and caring.
A mother's heart and love are like a bottomless pit.
A mother is a true friend when life shows you what it really is about
A mother is a shelter from the storms and rain that life throws at you.
A mother is a queen that doesn't wear a crown.
A mother sees four plates of food for five people and says I am not hungry when she actual is.
A mother is always a mom, but a mom is not always a mother.
So I ask you are you a mom or a mother?
A mother is someone who carries a baby for nine months.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
