    Poem Commentary

i don't actually cut myself. i was just imagining what goes through someones mind as they do so. so again I DO NOT CUT!

    WHAT

THE PAIN THE PRESSURE ITS ALL BUILDING UP
I JUST WANT IT TO BE GONE
    BUT HOW?
    TALKING...
    NO TOO PERSONAL
    WRITING...
NO TOO EMBARISING IF SOMEONE FOUND IT
    WHAT DO I DO?
I START TO WALK, BUT IM MOVING IN A DIECTION AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE I AM GOING
MY BODY KNOWS WHERE IT IS
    BUT MY MIND IS LOST

THERE IS SOMTHING IN MY HAND
    BUT WHAT
    MY EYES ARE CLOSED
    ITS COLD AND SHARP
MY BODY IS TAKING ME SOMEWHERE
    MY ROOM I THINK
THE PAIN THE PRESSURE IS BUILDING UP
I WANT TO SCREAM BUT I CANT
THE OBJECT MACKS ITS WAY TO MY WRIST
I TRY TO PULL IT AWAY BUT I CANT, I JUST CANT
I START TO THINK, THIS IS NOT WORTH IT
THEN THE MEMORIES COME FLOODING BACK
THE MEMORIES THAT PUT ME HERE
THE PRESSURE, ITS BECOMING TO MUCH TO HANDLE
FINALY THE KNIFE IT SLICES MY WRIST
    THE PAIN...
    IT HURT
BUT IT BRINGS A SMILE TO MY FACE
    BUY WHY?
DOES IT MAKE ME HAPPY BECAUSE THE PRESSURE IS NOW LEAVING ME?
    OR...
DO I SMILE BECAUSE I NOW RELIZE I HAVE FOUND SOMTHING TO USE AS MY WAY OUT?

I have walked this path.. The only way to really release it is to face it and talk.....

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
