What's goin' on -

...and this forebearace passed by one to another
if only I knew which side my bread was buttered.
and though the strings all rise up to reach a certain
point; but the ways of life may not well anoint.
and each dog barks on day to pasing day, until
another one comes to reap its pay.
for when such forebarance passes that's cast on this
day. just leaves it for you and me to play; upon this
earth set in the sky for, all is lost, forever nigh.
