Where Do I Fit In?

Where Do I Fit In?

The world is quickly changing
Can't tell a foe from friend
No matter what I do
I'm on the outside looking in
I've had my share of heartaches
Even broke a heart or two
But I can't give up on living
So what am I supposed to do?
What am I supposed to do?
I don't want to be another pebble in the sand
I don't want to be another feather in the wind
I can't keep on living
Wondering what I could have been
So tell me
If you know it
Tell me where do I fit in
Tell me where do I fit in

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
