Where I'm From

  • SPRING BREAK IS OVER NOW SO I WON'T BE ON AS MUCH

Where I'm From

I am from the rain

Breaking the surface of the still pond

Next to the aging shack

Housing my broken soul

I am from the wind

Coming as quickly as gone

Never staying

Never finding where I truly belong

I am from childhood games

That never included me

A spectator

In life's passing parade

I am from the fire

Of my spirit

Burning with desire

To find an answer to my prayers

I am from the shadow

Creeping where people live

But never living myself

Not thought of and not wanted

I am the essence of nothing

Never wanted

Never being cared about enough

To make enemies
