    Where

    Where

    I am an American
I have the right to equality
    The right to freedom
    The right to bare arms
    The right to vote
    Freedom of religion
    Freedom of speech

    I am a Gay American
    Not able to love
    Someone of the same sex
    OPENLY
    As a married couple

    Or to raise children
    With love
    Because we are not
    The ideal
    Family

I cannot care for my dying
    Partner
Who I shared a life time with

    I can choose to be
    Gay
    Lesbian
    Transgender
As long as it is behind
    Closed doors

    I will not tell
    If you do not ask

    That I am a Homosexual
    Denied my inalienable rights
    As an American
    Due to injustice and ignorance

Where is my equality and freedom
    Where is my America

VERY wonderful piece of art! Bravo my sister!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
