    WHY THE PAIN

    Why The Pain
Why the pain I hold inside? What can I do to
Swipe the pain out of my life?I'm tired of
    Being alone and deppressed.
I cry a 1000 buckets a day, but it doesent
Releive the pain, I grab my book and pen to
Write out the pain I hold inside, but it
Always ends up saying I wish I would die.
I throw down my pen, hit the door running,
To the church is where I head, I fall to
My knees at the puyue,i start praying, silent
At first, I get louder as I go,GOD i'm tired of
Being alone and depprest, I'm tired of all
This pain inside, please take me home, take me
Off this land, dear GOD if only I had a friend.
In a week my dayes became sunny, my pain
Slowly died, for I had a friend it was GOD
    Holding my hand,and now I say i'm glad i'm
    Not dead.

your poem really made me stop and think

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
