    Why

    Why won't you believe me,
    you never understand,
    if you would just listen,
you could see what's in my hands,
for in my hands, i hold my heart,
for you to have, even if you're ripping it apart.
    I love you so much,
    that I can't even explain,
    because the words i'm writing,
    are hiding my pain.
So what you see-my laughter and joy-is only an illusion,
you said I had a life and that you were an intrusion,
    so you let me go,
into the world and all alone,
    I wish you could see,
just how much I love you so.

ON 06/28/09 Your emotions and feelings are clearly stated and find that Time will always heal wounds. Good Job!

    very well written, good imaggery

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
