Poem Commentary

it's hard out there....

Working Mother

I am a working mother
Even though my kids don't have their father
I feel like were going to make it
GOD's got us covered
Everyday We have food to eat and
Every night we have somewhere to sleep
I thank the LORD for my everyday things
For being able to wake up and be next to my kids
Lord, I cant thank you for everything you've done
Since I was born you put breath in my lungs
I'm here on earth
Smiling, Laughing, Having fun
Lord, I thank you for everyone
I thank you for all the times I've had
Some happy
Some sad
Even the times when I was mad
I feel more in control than before
I just sit back and watch the show
I don't get angry anymore
I love me more
I can forgive more easily
Thank you LORD.
