you don't love like you used to

you don't love like you used to

A love so pure
Is what you gave
Said you love me
Till the end of days
Never gave up  on me
Is what you did
Anything I could possibly do
You would forgive
Just don’t leave me you would say
Through all my sins
You always stayed
No one else could love me as much as you
Through all the hurt and all the pain
Enough to drive anyone  insane
Still You saved me
From myself
A lucky hand is what  I was dealt
Now you treat me like a fool
Always angry
Even cruel
At this moment tears start to fall
You don’t love me like you used to
No more,  not at all

hmmmm...what to think.... Great poem you really ae a tru poet...maybe its cuz you hav had longer to expierence life...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
