    A Boy and His Dog

The mismatch in size upon which he relies
To build trust will go right by him.
But as their bond grows, everywhere he goes
The other will be right beside him.
Together all day, each one wanting to play,
He has even learned how to feed him.
And every time he comes home, he runs for his bone
And is always the first one to greet him.
They explore the woods like all best friends should
And if he runs away, he will get him.
Or if he’s had a bad day and just needs to get away
He is always there to let him.
Loving unconditionally, a member of the family-
Their lives have grown into rhythm.
For a boy: his dog, and for a dog: his boy,
He is still the best thing you could give him.

This is TOO cute. Reminds me of my son, Seth and his lab, Mousse. I'm gonna let him read this one when he gets home from school!
