    A Burly Poise

I’m serene as an ocean mid-night

With the depth of infinite fathoms

    Uncharted to the take-light brats

Just known to the cerebral beings

The diligence of mine, never been lauded

Yet, it was exploited for a matter of gain

In such route I stood for much strain

Come what may I’d never renounce

Never did I give up in misery

Nor I am a cynical self

Yet, facing a mount of drudgery

I gained zilch but sprinkles of woe

The chores made a sturdy heart of mine,

So did the despair with my wits so fine

The entire allied mortals shortly get a fare

Sooner or later the verity is to be bare

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
