    A Gun To My Head

     I'll never be a robot
    Programmed without a choice
    I'll make my decisions based
    On my thoughts and my voice

    You'll never be my master
    For I am not your slave
    The free will that I possess
    I'll keep until the grave

    From the womb until the tomb
    You need to understand
    I have certain freedoms that
    I'm not shy to demand

    As long as there's breath in me
    I have nothing to dread
    It's not like there is someone
    With a gun to my head

    It is not like I've been forced
    Against my will to do
    Something that is immoral
    Or unethical too

    They could threaten to kill me
    Have I made myself clear?
    Clearly, you should understand
    That I refuse to fear

    Even if they use a gun
    God still is in control
    They can kill my body but
    They cannot kill my soul

    Whether it's a metaphor
    Or whether it is real
    A gun to my head cannot
    Kill all the zeal I feel
