A Guy Like Me
I think my mind is wondering-
What I should have done last night.
Underneath the stars of that warm darkened sky.
I know I should have told you girl-
No, I should have never lied.
Oh its a shame a guy like me-
Could make a girl like you cry.
The time we spent together-
Well, I know now wasn't enough.
I knew sometime ago my girl-
That we were headed for the rough.
I should have told you sooner
Now it wouldn't have been so tough
Oh its a shame a guy like me-
Could ever fall in love
As I woke up this morning-
To that new born blinding sun
I remember what you said to me-
That I'll always be your one
I know I should at least have called you girl.
But, I've always been on the run.
Oh its a shame a guy like me-
Could ever loose someone.
As I headed for the taxi
I thought about you one last time
I'm amazed a guy like me-
Could ever change his mind.
Oh I'm amazed a guy like me...
Can't leave a girl like you, behind
Yeah I'm amazed a guy like me girl..
Could ever, ever baby..
Change his mind.
What I should have done last night.
Underneath the stars of that warm darkened sky.
I know I should have told you girl-
No, I should have never lied.
Oh its a shame a guy like me-
Could make a girl like you cry.
The time we spent together-
Well, I know now wasn't enough.
I knew sometime ago my girl-
That we were headed for the rough.
I should have told you sooner
Now it wouldn't have been so tough
Oh its a shame a guy like me-
Could ever fall in love
As I woke up this morning-
To that new born blinding sun
I remember what you said to me-
That I'll always be your one
I know I should at least have called you girl.
But, I've always been on the run.
Oh its a shame a guy like me-
Could ever loose someone.
As I headed for the taxi
I thought about you one last time
I'm amazed a guy like me-
Could ever change his mind.
Oh I'm amazed a guy like me...
Can't leave a girl like you, behind
Yeah I'm amazed a guy like me girl..
Could ever, ever baby..
Change his mind.
