A Love Lost
I lost the love of my life today.
I didn't see it coming.
They say everything happens for a reason.
This must mean something.
What reason could there possibly be, for this tragedy of mine?
My head tells me that she'll be back, but my heart is in decline.
I thought our love was strong, I thought that we could last.
But now that you're gone, you're only in my past.
