Oh, No, Elvis is melting into
The state of…
Iowa?
Is that what the that very round headed man
Is laughing about???
Perhaps it is the very large nose on that
Face over there…
Maybe she is a witch!
There’s an ogre…
On his head?!
A girl flipping her hair,
Is it wet?
Yes, like Charlie Brown
I see
Doggies and bunnies, too.
The scenery zooms by
In a colorful blur.
I have counted all the
scratches and marks
on his shiny black helmet
and
There are only so many faces I can
Make in it's reflection.
So, I look up to the sky
The nimbus, cumulus and stratus
Shift and change
And pique my imagination!
The miles fly by
He can watch the road,
I’ll sit back here
And watch the clouds…
