    A Sinner Saved (unfinished)

I was a sinner saved by grace
and yet I live in sin.
    My only little secret is
there's still a demon that lives within.
    He whispers to me softly
as if he were the wind.
    He chimes off little directions
    that always reels me in.
Some kind of danger, some kind of fun...

That Demon, will always be there. The voice grows quieter as you draw to Jesus. He is the strenghth that withers the voice of satan. Keep the faith and give satan no voice at all. Jesus is the only Risen Savior. Trust what He tells you. I enjoyed the start of a good poem, waiting on the finish !! Have a Great Day and GOD Bless.

Did I write this? lol. So many of us could have. I'm glad you put in words.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
