"ABSTRUSE"

Though he may shine outwardly
Internally it's all dull; 'cause
Love has reached the beginning of
The end and darkness covers all
Means of mend; heart
Wasted, face left long; lets
Face it, when it ignites; the
Flames consume the body
Thereof, not to purify; but
Intensify the burn of the
Pain felt; cut deeper
Than the abyss, no one gone;
So why do I miss, will
To go on, but what was
Once on, is now off; lost
With no sense of found, but
Do I mind, time I have not
To explain, but it is plain
That things turned, abstruse
From abuse of my heart, wait
Let's start over, sorry it
Won't happen; it's over.

My heart is breaking. I feel your pain here. I also sense your loss of hope.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
