I asked יהוה for power of persuasion,
that I might have influence over others… I was made humble,
that I might respect other’s.
I asked יהוה for strength, that I might do great things?
I was made weak, that I might do even greater things!
I asked יהוה for riches, that I might know what it is to be rich?
I was given little, that I may know Wisdom.
I prayed to יהוה for physical prowess, that I might be somebody.
I was given meekness, that I might know my Father יהוה בן יהוה.
I finally beseeched יהוה, in intercessory prayer, for all things
that I might enjoy life?... I was given life, that I might
enjoy all things.


I got nothing I wanted in asking יהוה;
But everything I needed in prayer I was rewarded!
Of all humanity, I am richly blessed!
