Alone in the darkness, my tears flow free.Alone in the silence, I cry for thee.
Who are you? Are you short or tall?
Will I ever get you meet thou at all?
Alone in the darkness, my eyes are wet.
I cry for thee, who I have not met.
I hunger for thine arms about me
I'm hoping thou would not doubt me.
Alone in the darkness, I burn for love.
I confess my desire to God above.
I ask that He send thou soon,
I pray that thou are not.....
