Along The Beach
Walking along the narrow beachListening to the sounds withing reach
I pause to think, what will they teach?
Each sound that I hear
Is sweet music to my ears.
Rushing waves with it's mighty power
A distant ringing by the hour,
Weeping willows with grace and ease
Swaying to and fro in the gentle breeze,
While nesting birds their whistling tease.
The evening sun is setting fast,
Bright orange rays disappearing at last.
Shadows creeps up like a haze
As it covers this unending maze.
Now the day light slithers from my gaze.
Never more will I sit and stare
Or watch the shadows of the painter's glare,
On the evening that has disappear.
Slowly I stroll to my homeward bound
And close the door to all of nature's sound.
