And I said a prayer for me Today !

I said a prayer for all my loved ones today, just asking God to at difficult times plese help them thru.
But there was one person i left out,
last but not least i thought of you
and i couldn't get my prayer out over the tears
i just opened up in an effort to let go of all your pain and fears.
I asked you to forgive yourself for the wrongs that you have done and also to love yourself, for that, you need no one.
I asked you to go ahead and exhale because now you can let go,
the words that came from my mouth were endless and i let them flow,
as i prayed for you my shoulders felt lighter from the weight that lifted off
and even though my knees were sore i continued to carry on.
I prayed that you can stay strong after looking back on what life has put you through,
i prayed that you acknowledge your strenghts and never in your life doubt you,
I asked that you never forget the past as a way of keeping it where it belongs
and also when the times get tough you rely on your past to keep you strong!
I continued to pray for you but very silently as the tears began to take control ,
i held my hands tight and held trust in my heart, that you will always know.
So as i not only prayed but cried for you today i hope you never take this forgranted,
and please reach towards you hope and dreams and on that path you will never be stranded.
I ask that he stands close to you because thru your beautiful smile sometimes i know your afraid.
I,
down on my knees remained all night
and just for you,
I Prayed !

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
