    Another girls face

    Eyes bright as the sun
She was always so much fun
On a rainy day she'd shine
    She was always so divine
    Eyes wide like an owl
    Air echoed as she howled
    So much company around
Yet no one heard a sound
    Tears burning down her face
But no one seen a trace
Of one girl who was trapped
    In another girls face

This comes off as a dark poem, you feel the subject of the write in the dark, and seeing herself as a light in the dark, yet she is not noticed to spite her "shine" in the dark. I'm a little lost on the ending with "in another girls face" what were you telling us the reader in that line?

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
