Billy's Letter
Billy sat down, and
wrote a letter today.
To a very special person,
this is what it had to say.
Dear Sir,
Today our family sent,
a special package to you.
Handel it with love,
so pure and true.
We were all broken hearted,
and our lives so sad.
When we sent home to you,
our loving Dad.
We even placed him,
in a pretty gift box.
Dressed up for you,
in his best shoes and socks.
He likes milk and cookies,
and to read stories in bed.
And he listens real good
to what is said.
Please tell him we miss him,
and wish he were home.
And Mama still cries,
cause she�s all alone.
Thanks for reading,
this note you have read.
Good night for now God.
It�s time for my prayers,
and then off to bed.
