Bitterness

Bitterness

See it there? Upon her face?
 The mocking sneer,
It masks her fear.
 Unreceiving, despising grace.
Openly, at love she leers.
 Allowing none within her sphere.
Bitterness! It rules her heart.
With all lives sins, her soul is smeared.
Death, it crawls so slowly near,
 Waiting, wanting, deaths curtains part
At last she's free, from all these fears.
