Whisper

Whisper

The flowers in my garden whisper!
Hear them hush, as you first enter?
See them quickly close their eyes?
Glimpse the fairy, as off she flies.
They all pretend they cannot talk.
When in my garden, you take a walk.
Silently, they watch you leave,
Then it's finally safe to breathe.

Wow ! Whimsical, charming and beautiful. I really this!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
