Breakup
I stared out the window wondering where we stand,

Where do I fit in your heartland.

You asked for my heart I gave it to you,

Little did i know you'd break it in two.

Wondering what could have been,

If only you and I were just a dream.

Never dreamt for this day to come,

But it is time for something to be done.

Letting you go wasn't easy for me,

But now your here down on bended knee.

Begging me please to take you back,

And that you'd do whatever to pick up your slack.

My heart has been heal from what little chance i had,

Picked up the pieces for a time to be glad.

When you left I decided to move on,

Who I was yesterday is so long gone.

Single for days and happy for years,

No more sadness and no more tears.

I live this life forever to be strong,

Leaving you was not so wrong.

Thank you for being so not into me,

Made me stronger to believe.

A fighter strives in this heart of mine,

Hope to feel a love not so blind.
