    Breathless...

    Breathless...

Can a summer breeze ease the subtle pain that’s within my heart from your absence. Can it place me back into reality knowing that the love we shared has cease. I acknowledge the separation but don’t accept the lost.

You have made everything dim bright. Although the absence of light is away from us, I may only anticipate the day that this pressure is relieved from my veins and the allowance of love can once again flow through me.

Awaken me dear Lord, so that I may know that this is a just a horrible nightmare plaguing my dreams. To know that this emptiness is only temporary and the feast of her love is only moments away.

I know I don’t speak to you much and hate to call on you when I’m in need, but each breath I take lessens as the seconds go by and with each cry, the seemingly never ending draining of my soul.

I am incomplete and half stance because my other half is slowly disappearing with the rising of the sun. For this I am done and as i am carried away by your angels, my spirit can only hold my arms out to you to embrace me fore i am loved no more by flesh.

Keep up the good work. I like reading what you have to say.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
