    Broken Heart

                                        “Broken Heart”

     

    I have this broken heart that is full

    Of agony and headache

    That is always caused by disbelief

    Disrespect and mistrust

     

    The broken heart that is never fixed

    Nobody cannot tell it what to do

    Nobody can fill it

    It is to close to handle

     

    A broken heart that is caused by love

    Death, sorrow, and pain

    Why is it so hard to fix?

    Maybe it does not want to be fixed?

     

    The heart that keeps on beating

    I want to fix this broken heart that I’m feeling

    All the unhappiness and grief

    All the unconditional love

     

    I want this broken heart happy

    Tears of joy and a smile that is worthy

    I want this broken heart to be loved

    Not sad, troubled, or discontinued.

    I like the last part of poem the most. The whole poem was very well written, and the last part just put it together very elegantly. I like how you ended it with discontinued because that is true of so many broken hearts. Their partners just discontinued being with them.
