Broken Inside and Out

I’m broken armor with a bleeding heart,
But that will soon fall apart,
I try to run away from fear ,
And the door slams shut and I’m trapped inside.
My smile sometimes is fake,
It’s painted on my face,
I try to make it permanent but It doesn’t want to stay.
Cause thinking of her that way hurts, only makes it worse,
And as my present becomes my past.
I’ll soon think of what we had,
My future is fast and full of pride,
As it changes there becomes more light a possibility for her to get well.
The rest is still to unfold..........

I liked this poem, had to read it twice. Love offers us many things, some welcome, some not.

i really like this poem it show how deeply you can love someone

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
