    Canadian Epiphany

    Canada, Oh Canada-
I pine for your natural aura,
    Your diversity flows through me,
And besides, I can drink the water.

    I miss you greatly,
    Oh land of the North,
From child to adult I did yearn,
Lay there, spread out and pristine-
    As you always have,
    And one day I'll return.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
