    Carry On

If I said I loved you/Would you believe in me
For all that you do/I'm not to blind to see

Ever since you've been gone/I can still remember
The way it used to be/When we we're together

I've been waiting for you/All these lonely nights
All I want to do/Is to get you into my life

    Chorus
I've been waiting for you/It has been so long
Together you and I/We've got to carry on

I've been so lonely/Without you by my side
If only you knew/All these tears that I have cried

Your the only one/That was meant for me
You've got all the love/That I will ever need

When you look into my eyes/I'm not too blind to see
There's a place in my heart/For you and for me

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
