Carrying the fear

Carrying the fear

I’m alone again, here with a rope In my hands,

How I got to be here well I’ll never understand.

If you ever find me will you please take my hand and lead me away from it all…..

I used to be, known for my charm and my  smile, for in bringing the love and making all feel worthwhile,

At what point did it did turn, for these feelings I yearn, it’s back where I want to be……

Now I’m here and I’m carrying the fear, and  the world in weight on my shoulders,

I will remain strong and I’ll carry you  along, I will be here  for many a year.

You can turn your eyes to me, you can let it all be, because I’ll be there to always dry those tears.
