This is my life

This is my life

Hey you, yes you, I like the way that you move,

I like the way that you slip and you slide, and you’re sliding into my room.

Now Come  over here, and don’t let the fear, take it’s hold on you,

I get the feeling that I know your meaning and the reason you made the move.

See them, them over there, well they got no reason to be,

They just co-exist in this realm we call life, they look but they cannot see.

Their world, is but a small little box, their circle of life is merely a line,

But for me, I got 20/20 vision to see and I see that you are mine.

This is my life and they’re not taking it

I’ll deal with my feelings and I’ll carry the shit,

This is my world that I’m living in,

for all it’s pain and the glory, the Love and the Sin.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
