CHANGE I SAY!

Poem Commentary

We are found along the path of life in growth and admiration in others we know and yet to know, however, we should not allow change to remove from us the identity that God bestowed to make the you the Ewe He intended, sometime a small sheep can be led astray and forget he/she is but a lamb in the Eternity without end that God chose unto Himself. Be a lamb or at least be a dear.

CHANGE I SAY!

CHANGE I SAY!

Change I say
Change the who in the you
that is the person you'll proclaim it unto
Change the do in the what you want to become
think loudly and the things you have done
Change the question and it remains the why
retain the image and never try
Change the tommorrow for today
and be the be that yesterday put away
Change the number and the name
the city or the state leave not the same
Change brought you where you were not
Change gave you what you sought

I met her on the street
And fair she was and beauty complete
Tommorrow, today was founded
She grew, she moved, she sounded
A stranger it seemed, Change ensued
Change grabbed and apprehended
Change she did, and change she was
And to me she was a stranger I once knew
