    choices

We all have choices in our lives. These choices mold us into who we are and what we become. Some of us continue to make wrong choices, while others of us seem to always make good choices. Regardless of which category we fall under; it’s when you accept the outcome of any choice you feel comfortable with self. I find myself looking back at my choices not because I regret them but because I can learn from them. I’ve made some good and some bad and find myself making more of each every single day. I'm at a place in life where it seems I need to analyze a lot of my life and strive to find everything I’ve ever looked for that I believe leads to happiness; not only find but to pursue as well. We all make these choices and sometimes they affect others’ lives as well. Unfortunately, sometimes people get hurt. I’ve hurt others and have also been hurt myself. Every now and then you get second chances to correct things. Sometimes you do and other times it’s best to just pick up the pieces and move on with life, not choosing to take the second chance. Seems this is just another one of those choices. I’ve found myself wanting more than what I’ve had in life. Wanting not to settle for comfort yet taking a risk believing you are everything I want. I believe with you I will be truly happy. So here I am!!! Will you take me in, love me, and open your heart to me? Your choice!!!!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
