Christmas Undefined

Out before the sun
trying to get Christmas shopping done on 'Black Friday',
not wanting to pay full price for the merchandise I seek,
everyone standing in line
for tickets to the gifts they are told by commercials are so sleek
like 37' flat screen TV's on sale for the amount of rent I pay,
I got a TV at home so I let that one slip away cause
I just can't seem to comprehend the amount of money we spend on material things,
Using Christmas as an excuse to show boat
I mean, show me where it was wrote that I got to go in debt
for some small child who can't even grasp the concept of potty trainings respect...

And people getting trampled never seeing the bright of the day
cause at 4 am due to 'Black Friday' their lives slipped away, Damn!!
I wonder what God would say...
I wonder if he's proud that his children fight for t-shirts, skinny jeans, hoodies, shoes and all those UNIMPORTANT things...
but ask them to fight for the seat in his house
and they always got something else to do...
Never heard of two father's shooting one another dead for a bible...
Naw, Christmas is no longer about the Lord, only about survival
and that to me is sad, because all kids really need is love from fathers,
kisses from mother's, stories from grandparents and a good meal to make them glad...
I watched in horror as strangers yelled at strangers
for things produced by man,
I just couldn't understand how something meant to show love for Christ
could get so out of hand,
and as I turned and walked away from it all headed for the door
I just shook my head as I dropped black tears
the Christmas I knew....was no more!!!

Please remember what the true meaning of Christmas is about! As long as you have food, love, and shelter....you have happiness! God never meant for the birth of his son to mean the death for someone else’s. Love each other...
