    conditional love
    and once again i hear the word "i love you"
    and once again i looked at the person in the eye
    and he asked "why are you staring at me like that?"
    and i asked "why do you love me?"

    i love you because you make me feel right
    i love you because you are always there for me
    i love you because you always understand
    i love you because you make me laugh

    it's always i love you because........
    it has never been i love you because i love you
