    Counting Love

If you counted all the stars and totaled them you would see,
They couldn't equal all the love that's deep inside of me.
If you counted all the grains of sand on a desert far and wide,
You couldn't match the love I feel inside.
If you lived a million years you would never see,
A love as strong as mine, my dear, a love that's meant to be.
I'll count my blessings each and every day,
And thank the Lord above, for giving me such a precious gift...
    He gave me your love.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
