Crosses By The Road
It's so sad to see those crosses by the road
Where I know some soles have died and gone home
I feel bad for the one who got that call
And I just can't imagine that at all
It makes me sad when I see people at that site
They say prayers and can't believe that this is right
They leave flowers and a cross to mark that site
So we can see those crosses in the night
It's so sad to see those crosses by the road
I feel bad for the families who had to love them so
I pray for them each time I pass that site
Where I see crosses glowing in the night
There are just too many crosses by the road
There is a way to stop this but only you will know
So when you see these crosses as you drive
Please say a prayer for all of them who've died
It's just so sad to see those crosses by the road
