Daddy's Girl
Once there was a little girlJennifer was her name
hair so red, eyes deep blue
daddy's wish finally came true.
Jennifer's first steps in life
her daddy was always right there
holding both hands, he helped her along
daddy's little girl was getting strong.
Then one clear day, daddy in sight,
she did it all on her own
that's when daddy started to realize
his little girl had grown.
Sure there's been alot of times
she had to learn a lesson
and even though she wound up mad
because of her daddy, fewer problems she had.
Jennifer is grown up now, her family came along
she sees why daddy did what he did
to teach her to be strong.
Thank you daddy for being there
your shoulder to lean on, you always cared.
I wouldn't have it any other way,
Daddy, because of you, I'm still here today!
