    Destined Meeting

    We met you waved hi,
It was hard to speak but I never tried.
    We connected without words,
But our thoughts were loud enough to be heard.
    Time was passing by,
It’s too late to talk now because you smiled and I waved goodbye.
Wondering when I will see you again,
    Meanwhile I’m daydreaming about,
Holding you when you ask me to, kissing you when you want me to, the caressing is up to you.
We meet again; your style reminded me of why I began to like you back then.
We’re older now, situations have changed, but our feelings remained the same.
My dreams about us are coming to an end, because in reality we’re just friends.
Living our lives day by day, wondering if God wants to send you my way.
Looking into the future, Will I be down on one knee, proposing for you to become my wife to be?
So am I meant for you? Are you meant for me? These questions will be answered if it’s our destiny.

I am glad I read this poem after reading Mr. San Francisco. This is a much better effort. Just watch the grammar, even though poetry is very subjective there is form and format. good poem.

I don't get it... "wife to be" ? Please no. Whatever you do please don't tell me you are one of the women whom have sworn off men. I am not a homophobe, despite me thinking its gross. You are very hot and to think you are.... my fault, the poem is decent. Some commas should be moved, turned into periods, or deleted to improve flow but the message is a good one. side note prop 7 failed.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
