    drifting lies

im tired of seeing my lies
    im witnessing my own dispare
    i know your there
not careing for what i do
im carrying the world on my shoulder
it seems heavier then the love we have together
im just wasteing my life following my dreams
sitting here wondering were ill go
    were you have been
    were i have been
just knowing there wont be a tommorow

my soul just keeps drifting away from your love
it seems as if we werent meant to be
like are lie were the dispare of
    our relationship
    to us it is done
    no more anger
    no more pain
just a life of emty promises
    and
regret for what we have done
    for what we had wasted
    im just drifting away
    just drifting away

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
