Ellusion

Even when you think you have the answer it eludes you, you are listening to the wind wondering why it doesn’t speak to you and why love is an elusion, I wished for you, ive longed for you and when I catch a glimpse of you, you run and hide from me. When will you embrace me and not let me go Its not only me, but everyone, we wait in the shadows to be picked by you, love, you play with us, your chosen toys for this season, yet we grow weary and soon we stop seeking you and our desires find lust and multiple contents.

Sometimes our faith kicks in and our morals come into our destiny. We are not whores but loveless women seeking the comfort of a mans arms, the solitude of his heart and strength of his mind, Our children lay dormant in our bodies as chemicals suppress them and the reality is that even id we didn’t bottle up our emotions we couldn’t afford them.

We are not gone astray, but driven by a kind of breed you have yet to see walk earth. We are the women of independence, invention, sarcasm, models of the new world. But our woes are plenty, we are miserable wealthy, virtually spared from the chores of yesterday but lost to tomorrow.

Love is an elusion that we are fighting to make real, every date every guy, every time our clothes fall to the floor and we are touched in that sensual way. It all for love but lust you are the punisher and we are sick of you. Tormenting us with your laughter as we pick up our garments and wash away our fret.

Our beautiful bodies are temples for us to worship God and his eminence. Take away from your flesh and turn to your spiritual being, she will guide you and happiness comes. We rise above you lust and young daughters, there is where you find love, always there patiently inside us.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
