    to Kev, my WRTG 1150 teacher

    English with Yoda

     Syntactic roles and semantic ideas
    Subject, object, agent, patient
    Active, passive, compound, complex
    Sentence variations, Agentless voice
    Past participles

    All this? Not my choice
    I'm not an English major
    But reading and writing is
    A part of every class

    This isn't cohesive rhyming
    But that was kinda the point
    Kill me, this research paper will

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
